Given the nature of our industry, you may have a strong image of mid-career hires, but about 70% of our employees are new graduates.
Some have always loved computers and have been playing around with them, some have self-taught themselves coding, some have studied design at school, and some had no knowledge of the web before joining the company and acquired
that knowledge after. (In particular, many of our web directors have never been involved with the web before joining the company.)
In any case, none of us joined the company without any work experience.
Rather than work experience, we think that what is important is "what you have felt, thought, and done (both on and off campus)."

What are the characteristics of our recruitment?
The features of our recruitment system are "year-round recruitment" and "job-based employment."
Our company recruits all year round.
Some students may feel anxious because they have not yet decided on a company to join despite the deadline for job hunting. At Untype, we do not set a time limit, and we evaluate both new graduates and mid-career hires equally, so we always value meeting good people.
Job-type employment is a format in which you apply for a specific position.
Since the job type is fixed at the time cyprus b2b leads of employment acceptance, it is easy to imagine the specific working style after joining the company.
Students are encouraged to apply for positions where they can utilize their experience and cultivated skills, or positions in which they would like to utilize them. We
are also flexible in terms of the timing of joining the company, taking into consideration circumstances such as graduation date and studying abroad, so please feel free to consult us.

About document screening
A little about the document screening process...
We always ask applicants for designers and engineers to submit a portfolio. This is not just to see their skills, but also to find out the process that led to the final product and to learn about their way of thinking. We
also look at whether their sensibilities are similar to those of our company. This is because we want to avoid mismatches and work comfortably for a long time. If a mismatch occurs, it will be difficult for both parties even if you have joined the company.
Interviews focus on personality to create a comfortable working environment
During interviews, we hire candidates based on personality.
I want to know about you as a person, what you're thinking, and what you've done so far. So I'd be happy if you could tell me about yourself as you are, without being too nervous or overly ambitious.
As an aside, I joined this company mid-career and became involved in recruitment, and after working at several companies, I think that they place an overwhelming emphasis on personality. I often see the phrase "recruiting with an emphasis on personality," and I have applied to and joined companies that have that description. However, I don't think there are many companies that place as much importance on personality as UNTYPE.
For example, to give an easy-to-understand example, no matter how great your career or skills are, we don't judge you based on that alone. We also place importance on whether you will fit in with the current members, and whether both the new members and the current members will find it easy to work.
Perhaps that is why, although each of our current members is unique, they are all similar at heart, and there is a calm atmosphere. When I joined UNTYPE, I felt that respecting each other creates such a comfortable working environment.
How do you acquire knowledge?
As I mentioned earlier, employees acquire knowledge after joining the company, and specifically, they learn by learning from their seniors during on-the-job training and by using e-learning. The e-learning materials are wide-ranging, from basic web knowledge to current hot topics on the web, so they are used by all employees, not just new employees.
There are also reference books in the office, and employees work hard every day to acquire knowledge and improve their skills.
Web director Ikebe, who acquired web knowledge after joining the company and is now a major asset to Untype, has written a detailed summary of what he learned when he joined the company here. When Ikebe
joined the company, full remote work was being implemented due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so the situation is a little different from now, but I think it will be easier to imagine what it will be like after joining the company, so I hope you will read this as well.
