Social media was defined as ‘websites and applications used for social networking’ until… today. In my opinion, social networking sites were solely created for just one purpose – to ‘electronically’ connect with people.

Right when making friends

with strangers on the Internet was made possible by the creators of such sites, marketers have also found their ways. They have seen the potential of social media to open massive opportunities in increasing brand germany telemarketing database awareness of start-ups and small businesses. Social media has also become a sales channel, contact center, and a large community of consumers willing to recommend (or discourage) buying a certain product or acquiring a service.

Nowadays, what was supposed to be personal
on social media has already become significant for businesses (and it could also mean money!). Let’s take sentiment analysis for example. I’ve written an article on SocialMediaToday highlighting the types of entities who benefit from sentiment analysis. And obviously, businesses take advantage of it the most.

If we are going to categorize businesses,
one of the easiest ways to tell is whether they are a Business-to-Consumer (B2C) or a Business-to-Business (B2B) type. Their difference is plain and simple, but on social media, it’s not. B2C companies may find it easier to use social media for marketing since almost any type of consumer can already be reached there, unlike B2Bs. The target markets of B2Bs are very narrow – unless they would want to waste time and effort on targeting almost everyone as well (that is not suggested by the experts). And with the swift-paced changes on social media and how people use it, it’s important for B2Bs to do it right this year. Here are 3

social media strategies that I believe would truly help B2Bs in improving their campaigns:
