1.- Protect your Chrome browser
It's my favorite browser and the one I use the most, but right now, without us even realizing it, extensions and software can be installed that can slow down our browser and even obtain information about what we do. To avoid this, I recommend that you install the Software Removal Tool , which will scan your browser for suspicious things and remove anything strange it finds.

It will also disable all extensions and delete cookies and temporary files from the browser, thus performing a complete cleanup.

Once you're done, I recommend you re-enable any extensions you need.

2.- Protect your computer and browsing with a good antivirus
There are people who are unaware that if a page is infected with a virus or malware, just by browsing it and without having to download anything, we can be infected with this "little cape verde email address animal", this makes it essential that we have an antivirus that protects us from all types of threats and with which we can browse with complete peace of mind.

That is why I am going to recommend a free antivirus, specifically AVG Antivirus Free 2015 , with which you can be much more relaxed and you can be warned when you are browsing a website that has a virus or malware.

3.- Protect your Blog with Wordfence
Wordfence is a free Wordpress plugin that can be used to detect vulnerabilities or threats on your blog.

But before analyzing your Blog you will have to configure it correctly and mark these 4 checks that are not activated by default:

wordfence configuration

Scan theme files against repository versions for changes: We will activate this option to analyze the theme files.

Scan plugin files against repository versions for changes: We will activate this option to analyze the plugins in search of viruses or malware.

Scan files outside your WordPress installation: We will activate this option to analyze other domain files that are outside of WordPress.
