High Priority SEO Technical Errors

Post by Arzina777 »

In this SEO analysis we will look at the configuration of the “robots.txt” file, as well as the 301 redirects and our Sitemap file, also known as the sitemap.

There is a very simple way to analyze how much content we have indexed in the Google search engine. To do this, go to the search engine and type “ site:domainname.extension ”, as shown in the image.

If you want to analyze whether your robots.txt file settings are correct, simply use the Robots.txt Checker tool.

3.- Analysis of the Structure
In this part we will analyze aspects related to the structure such as taxonomies, folksonomies, web architecture, canonical, etc. Below I will explain these terms in a very simple way:

Taxonomies: A taxonomy is a classification system that allows us to group a set of elements of a predefined category. These taxonomies or categories may be contained within each other or related in any other way.

Folksonomies: A widely used classification system in blogs based on labels or tags. These tags are not hierarchical, that is, they are not nested within each other.

Web Architecture: We are going to choose all the elements that will form the backbone of our website, as well as the relationship between them. This is a part that must be done before the design phase, although sometimes it is done the other way around, which is a mistake, considering that the design is a phase prior to the creation of the website.

Canonical : It is very important to make good use of the canonical tag, so that we can combat duplicate content and be very transparent with the Google search engine.
