Gadgets will replace cars

Huawei has announced the release of its flagship DS 7 car on its own IoT platform Huawei OceanConnect. The premium crossover was assembled by the French concern Citroen, which plans to officially present it at the Auto China exhibition at the end of April this year.
Huawei OceanConnect IoT platform enables vehicle philippines phone number resource diagnostics, driver evaluation, traffic information, smart parking, and concierge services. But that's not all the services available: the platform can book travel, offer leasing and insurance services, and arrange maintenance.

Huawei notes that the IoT platform is focused on four main tasks: collecting and analyzing big data, as well as artificial intelligence and forming its own ecosystems. The vendor is fundamentally against the development of custom applications, since it considers the inviolability of the final data to be the exclusive right of customers.
TelcoJournal's opinion : The world is changing rapidly: it is no longer automobile concerns that develop and release new models, but technology and IT companies. Without "software stuffing", even the most prestigious car is unlikely to be of interest to a buyer in the near future. The ecosystem around IoT will also develop: "smart" traffic signs, automation of traffic violations, etc. The car is turning into a kind of gadget, which the user can "sharpen" for himself with the help of various software.
Huawei predicts 10 million cars connected to its own IoT platform in 170 countries by 2020. Data from the research company J'son & Partners Consulting is even more optimistic: the total volume of the Connected car market in Russia will reach 18.8 million cars by 2022.
