Without stickers and selfies – a review of IP telephony for serious business

The business segment is dominated by other players in the IP telephony market, such as MCN Telecom, Mango, Uiscom, Telfin, Youmagic, Zadarma.

It is no secret that virtual communication systems for a large organization should have slightly different advantages compared to applications for schoolchildren and students. Namely, they should provide convenient, uninterrupted communication with a potential buyer or investor around the world, regardless of whether he uses modern gadgets or not.

The operator's service package necessarily includes a virtual PBX, which performs a number of necessary communication functions: call distribution, monitoring subscriber line load, creating an interactive voice menu, routing calls by geography and price, recording telephone conversations, etc.
In addition, operators sell multi-channel numbers necessary for working with a large array of client requests and a number of additional options that increase the efficiency of managing a modern office. Particular attention is paid to the availability of tariffs for telephone calls both within the country and abroad. According to expert estimates, the use of IP telephony helps corporations reduce communication costs from 50% to 80%, depending on the area of activity and geolocation of potential clients.

MCN Telecom offers the most targeted offer, including at least nine loyalty packages. Thanks to this, even the most enterprising subscribers, whose business is localized in one city, can reduce the cost of calls with "landline" interlocutors to 43 kopecks per minute, a conversation on a mobile phone in the immediate vicinity will cost 1 ruble 39 kopecks. By activating 5,000 minutes of long-distance mobile communication, the corporation can reduce the cost of calls to 1.5 rubles per minute, regardless of the location of its client.
The telecom operator announced an autumn price reduction and a 30% reduction in the cost of long-distance calls and a 20% reduction in the monthly subscription fee for using city numbers.
In September, new tariff offers with special conditions became available to MCN Telecom subscribers. Within the framework of the “A la carte” tariff, a multi-channel city number can be purchased for 299 rubles (499 rubles is the previous price) with a monthly subscription fee of 149 rubles/month with an annual write-off of funds. The fee for the same number with a monthly write-off is 199 rubles/month and with a daily write-off - 249 rubles/month. In this case, funds are written off only with a positive balance. If there is no money on the personal account, the subscriber is blocked. At the same time, the first multi-channel city number for MCN Telecom subscribers, as before, is provided free of charge.
The "Buffet" tariff plan offers two subscription service options. The first is with the connection of the MCN Telecom virtual PBX. The second is without connection. The subscription fee for using a number with a cloud PBX and with an annual write-off of funds is 249 rubles / month (590 rubles / month - without PBX connection), with monthly write-off - 299 rubles / month (899 rubles / month - without PBX connection), with daily write-off - 349 rubles / month (999 rubles / month - without PBX connection).

Mango Office offers four communication packages to choose from. The strategy is that the more the client is willing to pay monthly for services, the more liberal the provider is in terms of pricing.
Uiscom's approach largely repeats Mango Office. The same four special offers with similar parameters. The difference is in the attempt to erase regional boundaries. Negotiations with Kaliningrad and Vladivostok cost the same. For network trade - a good idea, for local business ideas - ambiguous.
Zadarma, true to its name, to some extent manipulates the consciousness of potential consumers. Along with three traditional tariff plans, the menu has two grids with numerous zeros in the "cost per minute" column. In fact, we are talking about packages with a significant subscription fee.
Telphin has the most favorable directions - Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg. In other regions, offers are quite expensive. Tariff packages, which represent the smallest discounts among providers for intensive use of services, do not help to make them more affordable.
It is not strange that the offer from the Youmagic company, which has paid the least attention to the development of exclusive tariff plans, looks like a clear outsider in terms of targeting a specific client.
The table shows a comparison of tariffs of telecom operators in large regions. Each company develops its own loyalty programs for corporate clients, forming service packages. Thanks to these promotions, subscribers can additionally save from 10 to 50% of funds.
