Here are some of my favorites:

My favorite memory with my mom is oh, there are way too many to choose!
Baking and decorating Christmas cookies, and then seeing the Nutcracker or decorating the tree
The giant teddy bear shaped birthday cake she made me one year (or the Cinderella one, or the Little Mermaid one…)
The year that our dog Diana had puppies, and we got to spend the whole summer playing with them
All of our numerous shopping trips, and then having a ladies’ lunch after
The vacations we would go on back in the days when money was limited, like camping with a borrowed tent or trips to visit our family friends in Florida
All of the times my mom would pick me up from school and take me to all my list to data flute lessons/cheerleading practice/math tutor etc. and we would listen to Shania Twain, Dixie Chicks, and Fleetwood Mac (plus lots of country on the radio!)
When she taught me to read my first chapter book – Charlotte’s Web
When she let us have to kittens as pets, even though she was severely alergic
Summer Sunday mornings of going to church, enjoying a big breakfast on the patio, and then sitting by the pool
All our trips to Italy and the Caribbean
When we went wedding venue shopping and stayed in a cute little bed and breakfast in Cambridge, MD (and drank way too much at a bar with a live band)
I could go on and on – we have so many wonderful memories!
I’ve never met anyone more chic than my mom.
She is the most presentable, sophisticated, smart, caring, and chic woman I have ever met. I’m so proud to have her as my mom!
Happy Mother’s Day, mom!
Question of the day: What’s the best thing you inherited from your mom? What is your favorite thing to do with your mom?
