In 2010, Claranet began implementing new processes based on the ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) reference library, the de facto standard in IT Service Management that provides a framework of good practices for the design, delivery and operation of IT services, ensuring a high level of quality throughout their entire life cycle. Claranet adopted this guide to restructure the functions and processes associated with the Technical Support and Service Delivery Departments, efficiently identifying requests bhutan email address and incidents in customer services, reducing response time and resolution of technical incidents, and optimizing the provisioning of new services.
As a result of this continuous improvement process, Claranet Spain decided to start the ISO 27001:2005 certification project this year. This project was successfully completed at the beginning of October, after passing the corresponding certification audit. With the ISO 27001:2005 standard, the internationally recognised standard for information security, Claranet is making a major commitment to protecting the information it manages, as well as all the systems involved in its management, through the adoption of policies and procedures that meet the strict requirements of the standard.
