The everlasting theme of the crisis is constantly being heard in the media, on the street, in homes, in short: on everyone's lips. This damned crisis affected the Spanish economy in general and more specifically some sectors of the business sector such as construction, which was hit in a way never seen before. But what resources did these companies have to stay afloat?

The construction sector is one of the chinese overseas america data hardest hit and in order to survive, companies in this group have developed specialties that are less affected in the sector, such as building rehabilitation.

According to figures released in autumn 2010 by the Ministry of Public Works on property renovation, the sector continues to grow compared to the previous year. Faced with a difficult market, the Government implemented a new 10% tax deduction on personal income tax and access to ICO credits for private renovations.

The subsidies provided by the authorities for this type of work, as well as the difficulty of maintaining a client portfolio and orders for new works since the beginning of the crisis, motivated companies, which did not develop this area of business, to open new services for building renovations and rehabilitations.

From the point of view of professionals in this field, competition is becoming increasingly fierce. For this reason, these “original” specialists in renovations and refurbishments have had to strengthen and develop their strategy in order to stay on track and continue with their business.

According to the manager of Construcción Luis Pérez, a company that has been dedicated to the rehabilitation of buildings for more than 22 years, the main advantage that these specialists have is their experience and professionalism.
