Discover which are the best-selling books in Spanish

Post by chandon »

If you're already trying your hand at playing the guitar but want to improve, it would be easy, right?

You'd just have to sign up for an academy or practice with YouTube videos to progress.

If you want to learn to paint or grow a bonsai, the method would be similar.

However, if what you want is to be a better salesperson, what could you do to improve?

The training is often very basic or very bulk sms vietnam expensive or not very actionable. Plus you have to fit their schedules in with your work and family life.

Bad business.

What other path could you choose?

Have a mentor
Someone with a lot of sales experience , who is qualified and who can transfer their experience and methodologies to you.

If you have access to someone with these characteristics and they are willing to share their time with you, stick with them like glue and learn everything you can.

However, chances are you don't have anyone like that at hand.

When I started in sales, at least I didn't have one, and yet I found the best mentors possible:

Aaron Ross , CMO who led a CRM company to $100M in recurring revenue.
Jeb Blount , international consultant and speaker.
Neil Rackham , pioneer in consultative selling and professor at universities such as Harvard.
Og Madino, psychologist and award-winning essayist worldwide.
And these are just my favorites, I have also learned from Jeffrey Gitomer, Brian Tracy or Ralph Roberts to name 3 more examples.

Through the sales books they have written and published
Luckily for you and me, selling is one of the oldest activities in the world , and from Aristotle's Rhetoric to Aaron Ross's Predictable Revenue and dozens of other authors, people smarter than you and me have dedicated their lives to learning how to sell ideas and products to others and have left it for us in writing.

And your job as a salesperson is to gather all those lessons and adapt them to your context.
