Xenia, current student of the Digital Marketing Dual Program

Post by rabiakhatun785 »

First of all, I was already very clear that I wanted to do a Master's in Digital Marketing , not only because it can contribute a lot to me professionally, but also because I personally believe it can help me develop.

What brought me to IM was primarily the curriculum. I found it to be very comprehensive and covered everything I needed and wanted.

Since I started my Master's degree, the treatment from both the professors and the staff at IM has helped me because they support you and are by your side at all times, and that is also appreciated.

How would you tell us about your entry into IM?
An example I can tell you is jamaica mobile database when Maggie, our digital creativity teacher, helped me find a company where I could develop my Master's final project, since I was a bit lost.

At the time, I wasn't sure which company to choose, but thanks to her, I was able to find a company.

Tell us a little more about the company…
This company, with which I'm completing my Master's thesis, is a tattoo startup that has only been in the industry for a short time.

Basically, it's like an intermediary between companies and the end customer, and its goal is to connect both parties so you can find everything on a single platform. For example, if I want to get a tattoo, I search for a tattoo shop through their platform, considering which tattoo style best matches what I want, and then the platform quickly connects me with the professional.

What is your role within the company?
My job within the company is to create the digital marketing plan and generate leads and traffic.

What attracted you most to the Dual Master?
As I mentioned before, what attracted me most was the marketing and curriculum plans, since other centers cover everything in a very general way and in the end you don't go into depth.

What I was looking for was an up-to-date curriculum, not one from three years ago, because, after all, digital marketing can change a lot in just a few months. Therefore, it's important to always stay up-to-date, and IM provided that for me.

In a word, how would you define the contents in this sense?
I would define them as novel, up-to-date, and interesting content that can greatly contribute to your professional life and when it comes to putting them into practice.

As I said before, other centers tell you, "Look, you're going to study this," but if you don't put it into practice, it's not worth it.

A very good part of studying at IM is that it no longer focuses solely on the theoretical aspects, but also on the practical aspects, which is what interested me. If you don't know how to put everything you learn into practice, studying is pointless.

What did you study before the Master's in IM?
I studied marketing and public relations, where I took a digital marketing course that really appealed to me. But, in the end, everything was very global, and you didn't get as in-depth knowledge as you would with a Master's degree.

Are you doing the Master's because you have a professional goal or to specialize?
In my case, I wanted to specialize in this field. I'm currently working in this field and interning at a dental clinic where I'm creating a website with SEO support.

The next step will be to start with social media, the Google Ads campaign, etc.
