Should I change the code on my blog?

Post by Arzina777 »

Do we have content to offer that is of more interest in some countries than others? What vocabulary do our regular readers use? What are our competing blogs talking about in the countries where we have readers? How can we steal a share of their organic traffic?

These are questions to ask ourselves if we want to position ourselves appropriately where we really care, and not simply where we are interested in being.

Finally, when talking about a blog we must take into account that the bounce rate will be much higher, since the user arrives for a very specific reason, and if he is loyal he will have already read our previous articles so he will not move from that landing page and, therefore, when he leaves it will appear as a bounce.

What can we do to ensure that readers who really interact with our articles (read them from top to bottom) can be excluded from the bounce rate even if they do not visit any other pages on the blog?

How? Did you not know that the bounce rate is probably the most changeable indicator in all of Google Analytics? Well, that's why I'm writing this, to help you improve your web analysis.

I usually recommend yes, not to draw smiles when we see a huge drop in the bounce rate (since that would mean very little), but to improve the quality of the decisions we can make about the success of the overall SEO strategy.

“Adjusting the bounce rate is not intended to cambodia email address make us happy about its decrease, but rather to improve our decision-making regarding the SEO strategy”

We will see that the bounce rate will drop from figures that are probably close to 70% to others that could be only 15%. Has anything changed? Not at all! Don't make that mistake, we have simply changed the way we analyse the information.

What is the point of editing the bounce rate?

Let's say for example that we analyze our top 2 articles, and both have a bounce rate of 80%. After editing the code we see that one has lowered its bounce rate to 20% and the other has only lowered it to 60%. What do we see?

Well, the SEO strategy has managed to position both very well (since I have suggested that you take your two best posts in terms of SEO traffic capture) but there is one that does not respond to the needs of users or readers. Hence the importance of giving them what they are looking for.
