Taken to the local police station, Bruce meets Sergeant Gordon, a kind mustachioed policeman who puts a coat over his shoulders before telling him that everything is going to be okay (yes, like that, out of context, I know it sounds strange, but he's a nice mustachioed guy with glasses, you really are full of prejudices). And indeed, shortly after, the police announce that they have arrested Maurice the tramp, which causes great jubilation among the journalists of Closer, but a little less so for Bruce, who is still a little shocked. So he returns home to bury his parents near the Wayne ancestral home, where he now lives alone, supported by his faithful butler, Alfred. The good news is that now, he is the one who decides what time to go to bed!

Except that at the end of the brief session, before Bruce can distribute prunes in the belly, a woman comes out of the crowd and shoots that snitch Maurice while yelling "  Hello from Falcone! " Frustrated at having been beaten to the punch, especially by a woman, those strange creatures who don't even know how to pee standing up, Bruce leaves the court with Rachel, to whom he confesses the dark plot he had hatched. In return, he gets a pair of slaps, as well as a nice speech. He would have preferred just the slaps.
