How do you see yourself in 5 years?

Post by rabiakhatun785 »

Area Casa gave me my first opportunity to gain work experience in a marketing-related position. I worked in the company's marketing department for a very short time, but I had the opportunity to begin applying the concepts and knowledge I acquired during the Master's program in a professional setting.

You then began a second internship at Vilax, a company dedicated to franchise expansion and online business development. What were your responsibilities?
When I joined the Vilax team, my primary role was as a Community Manager. I managed the social media accounts of several of the agency's clients under the supervision of my superior.
I was also responsible for writing and publishing blog posts on some of these clients' websites.

What are the specific characteristics of this sector compared to your previous work in real estate?
I think being part of an agency like Vilax has the great advantage of being able to see and work on projects from different sectors and with paraguay mobile database very diverse products. This has allowed me to develop a much more "all-round" profile. It's as if, instead of working for one agency, you were working for dozens of companies at once, each operating differently and requiring different marketing strategies and actions, tailored to its sector and the product or service it sells.

This forces you to constantly try out new tools, techniques, and strategies, which ultimately translates into experience and adaptability, something that, in my opinion, is essential for surviving in the marketing world.

What did you like most about your job and how did your profile evolve?
What I liked most about my job when I joined Vilax was the freedom I had to experiment and put into practice all the techniques and concepts I had learned in my master's degree. My day-to-day duties at the agency also included a creative component, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Over time, I had the opportunity to increasingly involve myself in web projects, whether developing and designing new websites or simply performing maintenance and making changes to our clients' websites. Fortunately, I had several "mentors" at the agency who taught me a lot, and from whom I continue to learn a lot today.

You were recently promoted to director of web development at the same company. How did this opportunity come about?
I think this opportunity arose from being in the right place at the right time, and thanks to a vote of confidence from Vilax. The agency was going through a period when demand for web-related work skyrocketed, and they needed someone internally to handle all these projects.

Since I'd been working on many of the web projects we received for some time, I was offered the opportunity to change my duties within the agency and dedicate myself 100% to the websites.

If you had asked me this same question five years ago, I wouldn't have gotten the answer even remotely right. I think it's impossible to know where I'll be in five years. And, in these times, it's even harder to predict anything.

Professionally, I hope that in five years I can continue working with the same enthusiasm I've had up until now, and that I haven't stopped learning at any point. The goal is to always evolve to become the best version of myself.
