1. Fix bugs
A. Fixed: When updating FlipBuilder Norton shows FlipBuilder as suspicious content.
We take the security of your data very seriously. We guarantee that our program does not pose a threat to your data. The reason for this issue is that when updating to a newer version and intending to replace the old program files, antivirus software may consider this behavior suspicious.
Please follow these instructions: If you have Norton software installed on your computer, before installing the new version, please delete the FlipBuilder program folder, which is located at C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu .
For example, if you installed Flip PDF Plus Pro, the name of the folder you want to delete is “Flip PDF Plus Pro”. This step is necessary to avoid conflicts or problems that may occur during the installation process.
It is also worth noting that, if you are running Norton while using FlipBuilder, we recommend changing the FlipBuilder program temporary files directory to a disk other than the C drive.
B. Fixed: If you enabled the Share button, you might encounter an error that prevented sharing when clicking “Share > More”.
The reason is that previously we were using AddThis (AddThis is a bookmarking and social sharing service that provides website owners with tools to encourage their visitors to share their content across different social media platforms) for sharing across platforms. However, AddThis has now been discontinued, so when clicking on “Share to other platforms” this issue occurred.
In the new version we have fixed this issue, now when you click on “Share > More” you are redirected to your computer’s built-in sharing functionality.

C. Edit: [Disable browser cache] setting has no effect.
In a previous blog post, we introduced the [Disable Browser Cache] feature, which is a feature that many users are using and interested in. If you have previously saved a project, you can re-import it into the program and then export it again.
D. Fixed: Unable to find text after replacing PDF page
Some users have noticed that after changing certain pages in the [Page] Manager within the program, the text on the new page becomes unsearchable. If you encounter this problem while using the program, you can update the program to the latest version, then try changing the page again to see if the issue is resolved.

E. Fix: Incompatibility with old projects created with previous versions
Some users, when opening a previously created project and re-editing it, found overseas chinese in uk data that the newly edited content could not be saved, or that the original additions could no longer be edited using the editor. For these incompatibilities, we have made them compatible with the latest few versions. If you are someone who frequently opens older projects for editing, we recommend that you upgrade to the latest version before using it.

B. Automatically detect video IDs for YouTube and Vimeo*
In previous versions, when using the multimedia editor to embed YouTube and Vimeo videos, users could only enter the video ID. However, several users contacted us to report that embedded YouTube and Vimeo videos were not playing correctly. We found that this was because these users entered the entire video link instead of just the video ID, which resulted in the video not playing correctly. To provide a better user experience, we have developed a feature that automatically detects the video ID. Now you can enter the full video link directly.

C. Grid lines for arranging elements in multimedia editors*
To make it easier for users to add elements to their Flipbook canvas and position them, we have added a grid feature in the new version. When editing flipbooks in the multimedia editor, you can enable it. In the future, we will continue to develop more features like this to provide our users with an even better experience.

Now you can just click once to clear the account and password you entered in the login interface.
Some users who use the FlipBuilder hosting add-on may have multiple accounts and need to switch between them when uploading books. Previously, if they were in the login interface, they could only manually delete the account and password, which was quite troublesome. Now, you can click on the “Close” button in the top right corner and then change the account.
